Card condition guide

The condition of a card is determined by the amount of markings and their severity. By using this guide we aim to help sellers define the condition of their inventory. However, each card is unique and has to be evaluated individually; there are not universal rules.

Near mint

Cards in Near Mint condition show minimal to no wear from shuffling or play. They might have a tiny edge nick, but overall they look as if they were never played and just came out of a booster.

Lightly played

Lightly played cards present minor wear or slight scratches. There aren’t too many defects and none of them are major.

Moderately Played

Cards in moderately played condition exhibit more obvious issues. They might present border wear, corner wear, scratches, whitening or minor dirt, or a combination of moderate defects.

Heavily played

In this case the amount of wear is serious. Significant border wear or major creasing or whitening can be observed. However, these problems are not severe enough to prevent the card from being tournament legal when sleeved.

Damaged

Damaged cards show extreme border wear, marking, folding or scratching that have affected the integrity of the card. ‘Damaged’ cards must not be sold through LilianaMarket.
